This year, 544 artists from 63 countries applied for participation. A total of 1.718 prints were submitted.
Following assessment by our distinguished international jury, 213 artists from 48 countries were selected to exhibit, including one artist from Belgium: Rita Vandevorst.

The participation of this incredible artist is a testament to Belgium’s ongoing contribution to the art of printmaking and to Yerevan’s growing importance as a centre for printmaking and intercultural exchange.

We are particularly delighted to announce that the Biennale’s International Jury of leading experts in contemporary printmaking and visual arts has awarded Rita Vandevorst the Honourable Mention Diploma in the exhibition competition. Ms Vandevorst’s work is a fine example of technical mastery and incredible depth of content, which caught the attention of our international jury.
