Description
This mezzotint forms part of the graphic oeuvre of Rita Vandevorst. The work Jusanya was submitted to the Third Contest “Hommage à trois” in the category “Ichiyō Higuchi”, where it received the Second Prize. A woman in a kimono, kneeling before several sheets of paper, looks through an open window into the darkness. The sheets of paper fly away and transform into origami cranes.
