The International Mezzotint Society (IMS) was founded in 1997 and has more than 125 members internationally. The main goal is to share information and spread knowledge about the Mezzotint technique among artists. I was accepted as a member at the end of April 2022.
Every year IMS organizes an exchange between 25 selected members/artists. Each selected person must send 26 prints of a new Mezzotint work, and will receive 25 different Mezzotint works back by post later in the year. In May 2024 I was on the list of the 23 selected artists and started my work “Hope in desperation”.
